At the Manning Foundation, we’ve embraced this philosophy from the very beginning. What started as a small Christmas luncheon for those in need in 1988 has blossomed into an established local charity serving the Dundas Valley and surrounding areas.
We may have started small, but our commitment to uplifting our community has grown stronger every year. We believe in the power of collective compassion… that by working together, we can make a real difference in the lives of our neighbours.

Feel like cleanin' out your closet?
Give your closet a second chance by donating your quality, gently-used clothes. You’re not only providing someone in need with affordable clothing but also supporting our vital work. We sell these second-hand items in our Op-Shop, and the proceeds provide us with much-needed regular income to fund our other projects and endeavours.

Op-Shop
More than just a store, our op-shop is a hub of community connection and support.
We sell your donated items here and it also gives us a point of presence in the community to which people can come and contact us when in need.
Direct Relief
We provide immediate, tangible assistance to those facing hardship.
From emergency food and clothing to support for the elderly and vulnerable, our Direct Relief program offers a lifeline in times of crisis.
Educational Programs
We believe that education is the key to lasting change. Our local charity programs empower individuals to achieve their goals, whether it’s completing their high school education or gaining skills through vocational training.
We invest in futures, one student at a time.
Christmas for the Needy
No one should be alone during the holidays. Our annual Christmas Lunch brings joy and companionship to those who might otherwise spend the season alone.
Through a festive meal, entertainment, and gifts, we create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
